2-day Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu tour, an enriching journey through the heart of the Inca Empire’s cultural and natural wonders. First day : The Sacred Valley tour includes guided visits to several Inca archaeological complexes. We begin in Chinchero, where we also visit a craft center that offers a demonstration of artisanal weaving and dyeing of alpaca wool with natural dyes, an ancestral experience still preserved in this Andean area. Then, we visit Moray and Las Salineras. The stop for lunch is in Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet typical of the area. Later, we visit Ollantaytambo and at 4:00 p.m. we board the tourist train to Machu Picchu town. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to a comfortable hotel takes place. At approximately 7:30 pm, there will be a meeting with our guide, who will provide information about the tour in Machu Picchu.
Second day : The visit to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu includes a guided tour of the main sectors of this Inca site from dawn, allowing you to enjoy the sunrise and have more time in the place. In the afternoon, at your free time, you can visit the thermal baths, the town of Machu Picchu, have lunch, and at approximately 5:50 pm board the return train to Ollantaytambo, followed by the bus transfer to Cusco, with estimated arrival. at 22:30 pm and transfer to your hotel.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas , located at the foot of the Andes and surrounding Cusco, was of great importance to the Incas, who filled it with palaces, temples and fortresses that are today World Heritage.

Transfer from your hotel in Cusco at 6:40 am to board the bus that will take you to Chinchero, where you will visit a craft center with a demonstration of weaving and dyeing wool with vegetable dyes. Then, continue to Moray for a guided tour, followed by a visit to the Salt Mines. The journey continues through the Sacred Valley until reaching Urubamba, where you will stop to enjoy a buffet lunch, a significant culinary experience. . Later, we continue to Ollantaytambo for a guided tour of the archaeological complex, with time to take photos.
At approximately 15:30 pm, you go to the train station and at 16:36 pm the train journey begins. This 2-hour tour offers spectacular landscapes of the Sacred Valley, providing an unforgettable experience until you reach Machu Picchu town. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the selected hotel will take place.
At approximately 7:30 pm, you will have a meeting with the guide who will provide you with detailed information about your tour to Machu Picchu.
Very early (recommended at 5:40 am, according to the guide’s information and the times of the entrance tickets to Machu Picchu), you will board a bus that will take you to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in a 20-minute trip. After the corresponding registrations, you will enter the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu for a 2 and a half hour guided tour of its main sectors. Afterwards, there will be a short free time to explore Machu Picchu. According to current regulations, it is allowed to stay in the Inca citadel for a maximum of 4 hours.
Later, if time permits, you can visit the thermal baths, explore the town with a short walk, and enjoy a delicious lunch. At approximately 5:00 p.m., you must go to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo, from where you will continue the bus trip to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Note : For the tour to Machu Picchu, there is the option of taking a 1 hour and 40 minute walk to Machu Picchu. In this case, you must start walking at 4:30 am to take the Machu Picchu tour early and, if you wish, visit the Waynapicchu mountain with an advance reservation.
