The tour of the Patabamba Huchuy Qosqo Inca Trail combines experiential tourism with a visit to the archaeological center of Huchuy Qosqo. In Patabamba, we will have the opportunity to appreciate the local textile industry and learn about its processes. Then, we will take a walk through beautiful landscapes, visiting lagoons and interacting with local residents who are dedicated to agriculture and livestock.

At 8:00 am you will be picked up from the hotel to begin our journey to the community of Patabamba, where you will be received with a warm welcome and will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the local residents.
Our first activity will be TEXTILE, where we will learn the entire textile production process. A local guide will accompany us while we select plants and flower petals to dye the wool with natural products such as natural soap (Roque). In addition, they will show us the wool spinning and weaving, explaining how these textiles reflect the daily experiences, customs and ancestral beliefs of the community.
We will enjoy a delicious and typical lunch prepared by local inhabitants. In the afternoon, we will embark on an ETHNOBOTANICAL TOURISM experience, guided by our local expert, who will teach us about the medicinal plants of the region, their uses and properties.
The community weavers will show us their textile products, and you will have the opportunity to purchase them if you wish. In addition, the mamachas (older women) will teach us how to prepare poultices, herbal preparations to relieve bumps, muscle pain and swelling.
We will end the day with dinner at family lodges specially prepared for visitors, where you can rest and enjoy the local hospitality.
Very early we will enjoy a delicious typical breakfast and we will say goodbye to our hosts to begin our walk. We will pass through hamlets and communities where we can interact with local residents. From these places, we will enjoy wonderful views of the Urubamba mountain range and the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
During the walk, we will enjoy a box lunch and arrive at the Puma Punku canyon (Puma gate), where we will begin our journey through the Cápac Ñan (great road). This ancient road will take us to the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo (Little Cusco), a place with beautiful terraces, stone buildings and adobe bricks. Here we will have a guided tour to explore this enigmatic archaeological site and enjoy the majestic landscape that surrounds it.
After the visit, we will return walking along a bridle path that will take us to the town of Lamay. This descent section will last approximately 2 hours and will allow us to enjoy an impressive view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the meandering Vilcanota River.
From Lamay, we will transfer by transportation back to Cusco, where our tour will end.
