At approximately 10 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and then we will go by bus to the town of Ollantaytambo. From there, at 1 pm we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, arriving around 3 pm, where our staff will be waiting for you at the train station to transfer you to the hotel you have selected.
You will have the afternoon free during your tour, where you can choose to visit the thermal baths or take a walk through the small town of Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu town). At 8 pm, there will be a briefing or brief talk with the guide, who will provide you with information about the tour in Machu Picchu.
Early, at 5:40 am, you will take a bus that will go up to the citadel of Machu Picchu in a 20-minute trip. Once there, you will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of the main sectors of Machu Picchu Tours; Then you will have free time until 5 pm, when Machu Picchu closes. During this free time, you can explore Machu Picchu at your own pace or take photographs.
There is the option of taking a 1 hour and 30 minute walk to Machu Picchu, in which case you will need to start walking at 4:30 am.
At the agreed time, you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where our bus will take you back to the city, arriving in approximately 4 hours.
